Robert Lee Morris, 70, of Jasper, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Baptist Medical Center Princeton. Funeral services were held Monday, March 12, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Chapel with burial at Sardis Cemetery on Old Tuscaloosa Road.

He was preceded in death by his father, Midas Morris; mother, Naomie Ruth Snow Morris; son, David Neal Morris; brother, Ralph David Morris; stepbrother, Freeman Neil Herald; stepfather, Joe Herald; mother-in-law, Merna Helena Davis; father, Dolphus “Doc” Davis; nephews, Neil Freeman Herald and Jeffery Wayne Morris.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Lee Erdman Morris; daughters, Tina Marie Self (Christopher William Self) and Kathy Kilgore Naramore; sons, Bobby Joe Morris (Kim) and Michael Sean Sims (Vanessa Herald); sister, Reba Gaynell Morris; grandchildren, Jesse Harper, David Gwardinski, Robert Self, Jaylyn Self, Joshua Morris, Ashley Morris, Christopher Self, Christian Self, Emily Sargent and Dominick Self; great-grandchildren, Cameron Sampson, Elexis Sampson, Fiona Gwardinski and Karolynn Boshell.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Self, Bobby Morris, Michael Sean Sims, Joshua David Morris, Keith Herald and Scott Herald.
