Thelma Davis Williams, 101, of Nauvoo, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2012, at Walker Rehabilitation in Carbon Hill. Her family was blessed with 101 years with a wonderful and loving mother.

Visitation will be held from noon until service time on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at New Oak Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at New Oak Grove Baptist Church. Pastor Mickey Crane and the Rev. Hugh Cavender will officiate. Burial will follow at Old Flatwoods Cemetery.

She survived by her three loving daughters, Avalene Davis, Minnie Franks (Earnest) and Shelby Mote (Junior); eight grandchildren, Judy Haygood (Dennis), Gay Brown (Keith), Michael Franks (Carolyn), Ramona Garrison, Carley Franks, Rhonda Hall (Maurice), Dennis Mote (Sarah Ann) and Darrell Mote (Tammy); 15 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Davis; her husband, Opal Williams; parents, Harvey and Minnie Griffith; step-mother, Mary Griffith; and four brothers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dewayne Williams and the loving caring staff of Walker Rehabilitation.
