Visitation was April 1, 2012, in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. Funeral services will be today, April 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Steadman Cemetery in Townley. Scott Argent will officiate.
Carmichael was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Andrew Key; mother, Beadie Idella Randolph Key; brothers, Loyd Key, Lee Thomas Key, Edgar Key, Joseph Key and John Key; and granddaughter, Michaelynn Elizabeth Wright.
Survivors include husband, Jessie Eolin Carmichael; daughters, Tammy Wright (Mark), Connie Andrews and Deborah Keeton; son, Steven Carmichael (Vickie); sisters, Ruth Roderick, Rebecca Harrison and Delilah White; grandchildren, Jeffery Keeton, Jonathan Andrews (Jessie), Bethany Davis (Joey), Rachel Woods (Jason), Joe Wright, Andrew Wright, Adam Wright, Chris Taylor (April), Amanda Blackwell (Brad), Jaylon Carmichael and James Hill; great-grandchildren, Brock Woods, Harley Woods, Blaize Nix, Caiden Nix, Joely Davis, Reagan Blackwell, Felicia Blackwell, Eathan Taylor, Parker Taylor and Bailey Tucker.
