Billy P. Cox Sr., 60, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2012. Billy was born and raised in Arley. He graduated from Meek High School and Samford University School of Pharmacy. Cox owned Bariatrics of Alabama with his loving and devoted wife of 30 years. He was passionate about hunting and enjoyed playing tennis.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Cox; son, Billy P. Cox Jr. (Katie); two grandchildren, Ansley and Preston; three brothers, Larry (Debbie), Jimmy (Debbie), Ted (Michelle); and parents, Royce and Martha Cox.

The family will receive visitors at 9 a.m. today, April 5, 2012, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (Trussville). The funeral will immediately follow at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Arley.
