The group fundraiser will begin at 7 a.m. in the parking lot next to Dis-count Home Center on Highway 78 and continue through early afternoon.
Relay spokesperson Rachel Simmons said 18 teams are scheduled to participate.
“It’s the largest we’ve ever had,” Simmons said.
Last year’s yard sale included 12 teams and brought in more than $5,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Businesses and others vendors can set up a booth as well for a fee.
In addition to bargains, the yard sale will include food and inflatables for children. Teams will also be selling luminaries for $5 in honor of or in remembrance of a loved one or friend.
The 2012 Relay for Life of Walker County/Jasper is scheduled for May 4 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. A survivor’s reception will be held at Bevill State Community College’s cafeteria on May 3.
