Visitation was held on Thursday, April 26, 2012. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, April 27, 2012, at Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery following the service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evie Edna Louise Tucker Williams; parents, Calvin and Lessie Williams; and granddaughters, Bridget Faith Akins and Angel Marie Ary.
He is survived by one sister; four brothers; children, Gary (Donna), Ricky (Midge), James (Sherry) all of Cordova, Mike of Oakman, Kenny (Candy) of Carbon Hill and Karen (Bruce) of Cullman; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Glenda (John) Southard.
Pallbearers will be David, Brian, Dale, Dwight, Canon and Christopher Williams.
Honorary pallbearer will be CPL Matthew A. Williams.
