He honorably served in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Collis Ferguson and Lorene Ferguson Sherrill; sister, Aunette Robinett; brother, Joe Ferguson; and grandson, Chandler Cole Ferguson.
He is survived by his brother, Maurice Ferguson and wife, Jan; sister, Cathy Cox and husband, Gary; daughter, Mia Wylie and husband, Mark; daughter, Melody Ferguson; son, Denny Ferguson II and wife, Kayla; son, Tyler Ferguson and his fiance, Brittney Harbison; grandchildren, Meleah Wylie, Landon Wylie, Peyton Johnson, Parker Ferguson and Khali Ferguson; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all of whom were very special to him.
There will be a memorial service and celebration of life on held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. for friends and family at Kilgore Green Funeral Home in Jasper. A private graveside service will be held for family only.
