Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today, June 19, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor prior to services. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, June 19, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hatt Church of Christ Cemetery in Parrish. Charles Underwood will officiate.
He is survived by his daughter, Terry Michelle McFarland of Parrish; son, Jerry Wayne Harkins; brothers, Robert Harkins and Lowell Harkins; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Parrish First Baptist Church Building Fund.
