He was preceded in death by his father, James Mitchell; grandmother, Kathleen Mitchell; grandfathers, Milton Mitchell and Lonnie Garrison; aunt, Helen Atkins; and uncles, Eddie Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell and Charles Mitchell.
He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Ann Mitchell; daughters, Merae Rebecca Mitchell and Annie Merriam Mitchell; sister, Patricia “Patty” Ann Mitchell; niece, Alicia Nell Mitchell; and uncles, Don Mitchell, Barry Mitchell and Julio Mitchell.
Pallbearers will be Tony Mitchell, Ethan Mitchell, Zachary Mitchell, Steven Mitchell, Keith Mitchell, Junior Mitchell and Michael Atkins.
