Shelia Mae Walker, 54, of Nauvoo, died Monday, June 25, 2012, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, June 28, at New Bethany Full Gospel Church of God with burial to follow at Old Flatwoods Cemetery in Nauvoo. Lloyd Wayne Keeton will officiate. Visitation was held on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Doyle Nix; mother, Carolyn Nix Colburn; stepfather, Roy Colburn; sister, Dianne Malone; brother, Sammy Joe Busby; and grandparents, Bud and Ada Nix, and Jim and Leona Busby.

She is survived by her daughter, Emily Karroll Russell (Kenneth); son, Brandon Todd Walker; sisters, Patricia McGough, Sharon Keeton, Phyllis Wideman, Marsha Lawrence, Cynthia Keeton McQueen and Billie Faye Winstead; brother, Randy Lee Busby; and grandchildren, Braden Walker and Gaven Walker.

Pallbearers will be Doyle Keeton, Chris Lawrence, Jeremy Lawrence, Brian McGough, Kenneth Russell and Josh Wideman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Braden Walker and Gaven Walker.
