Nola Bell Jones Morton, 97, of Jasper, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2012, at her residence. Visitation will be today, July 8, from 1 until 4 p.m. at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral service will be Monday, July 9, at 10 a.m. in the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Wayne Brown; mom, Ethel Reeves; dad, Andy Jones; grandson, William Burger; granddaughter, Kimra Lynn Riley; sister, Ola McDonald; and brother, Ronald Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Laverne R. Morton of Jasper; daughters, Geraldine Allen of High Springs, Fla., and Lois Tomlinson (Don) of Waterloo; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
