She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilbur Phillips; parents, Roy and Algie Wilson; brothers, C.F. Wilson and Howard Wilson; sisters, Mildred Gordon and Mary Key; and grandson, Stephen Swindle; and step-grandson, Lee Nations.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Swindle; daughter, Patricia Swindle Adams; son-in-law, Dennis Adams; grandchildren, Tonya Walker Dortch and Stephanie Swindle; great-grandson, Hunter Misso; step-children, Connie Sparks and David Phillips; step-grandson, John Nations; and special caregivers, Mary Williams, Lacombe Nursing Home and St. Tammany Hospice.
