Terry Joe “T-Bone” Blackwell, 54, of Oakman, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Baptist Medical Center Princeton. To know him was to love him. He will be greatly missed by everyone, young and old alike. He was the proud coach to a host of young girls on various teams but currently at Valley Jr. High, Xtreme Softball and several others. He was a loving husband, father, relative and friend. He was a role model that everyone looked up to.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Titus and Annie Mae Blackwell; and sister, Glenda Blackwell.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patt” Blackwell of Oakman; son, Richard Shane Calloway and Mariel of Oakman; daughter, Kayla LeShae Bowmaster and fiance, Randy Cole, of Oakman; brother, Tommy Blackwell; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason White, Kevin Atkins, Chris Cummings, Billy Westbrook, Ernest Tubbs, Corey Key, Wesley Smith and Bo Myers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Xtreme Softball team and students of the Terry Blackwell Pitching Academy.
