Pauline Dunn, 88, of Empire died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at UAB Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, August 5, 2012, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Empire Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Bruce LeVan will officiate. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Dunn was a member of Empire Church of God. Preceding her in death were her husband, Herman Dunn; daughter, Gloria Ann Dunn; parents, Burton and Lonnie Sims Harris; sisters and brothers, Euline Harris Reynolds, Irene Newman (Artrias), Kellie Foster (Eulie), Agnes Rodgers (Norman), Calvin Harris (Carolyn), Samuel Harris (Betty), Lewelynn Harris (Opal) and Flavious Harris (Bessie Mae).

Survivors include her daughter, Jeraldean Bland and her husband, Larry of Empire; grandsons, Mitchel Bland of Empire and Stephen Bland and his wife, Lori of Sipsey; great-grandson, Ethan Bland of Sipsey; and a host of other relatives and friends.
