Alex Smeraglia, who scored the game-winning touchdown against Appalachian in last week’s season opener, led the way with 95 yards and a touchdown on just five carries. Cameron Hallmark tallied 74 yards and a score on 13 carries and Seth Newton had 50 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
Defensively, Hallmark had 10 tackles and two sacks, Shugg Sloan had five tackles, two for loss and one sack and Jentson Hiller picked off a pass.
Meek (2-0, 1-0) plays Sumiton Christian in a matchup of undefeated Class 1A teams.
