No. 6 Pickens County routs Lynn

LYNN — Sixth-ranked Pickens County knocked off eighth-ranked Lynn 42-0 in a battle of unbeaten teams Friday night at Lynn High School.

Pickens County had its way in the game, jumping out to a 20-0 halftime lead and pulling away in the second half. The Tornadoes led 28-0 going into the final quarter.

For Lynn, which totaled just 132 yards in the game, Brody Meeks rushed for 16 yards and threw for 70.

Ben Cagle had one catch for 50 yards and Dakota Bell picked up 31 yards rushing.

On defense, Meeks and Bryan Clark each had 11 tackles while Bell added nine tackles and a sack.

Lynn (2-1, 1-1) plays at South Lamar next week.
