Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home parlor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlen and Ella Mae Watson; husband, Cleburn Cavender; and brother, Jimmy Ray Watson.
Cavender is survived by her daughter, Toka Starnes (Darwin), of Bremen; sons, David Dawson (Tammie), of Parrish; BObby Dale Dawson, of Bremen; Ray Dawson (Ammie), of Corner; grandsons, Clay Dawson, Tanner Dawson and Seth Starnes (Sharon); granddaughters, Kristin Dawson, Raechal Dawson Dawson, Isabella Dawson and Crystal Phillips (Charles); four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Joe Hyde and Nora Stacey (Charles).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the cancer society.
