Despite the three-hour trip south, the Wildcats were up to their old way against the Bobcats.
The game was tied 14-14 after the opening quarter, but Oakman put 21 points on the scoreboard in the second quarter to take a 35-14 lead into the half.
The Wildcats took a 42-14 lead into the final quarter.
With the win, Oakman (3-1) improves to 3-0 in region play heading into next week’s non-region game at Northside.
On the night, Trotter completed 9 of 18 passes for 295 yards and four touchdowns. Quinton Harris hauled in three passes for 95 yards and two scores while Elijah Farley caught four passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Deontre Muse caught two passes for 77 yards.
Austin piled up 145 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Trotter added 20 yards on the ground while Harris picked up 50 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Austin Lindsey also rushed seven times for 29 yards and a score.
Defensively, Don Tyler Jackson had eight tackles and a pair of interceptions while Reilly Williams added five tackles and a fumble recovery.
