Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Harvest Time Worship Center prior to service. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Harvest Time Worship Worship Center. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jasper. Billy Dutton will officiate.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Evert; son, Jimmy Lee Burton; sisters, Margaret Rice, Shirley Aaron, Virginia Dutton, John B. Aaron and Kathleen McClendon; brother, Coleman Burton; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
