Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Pisgah Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Williams and the Rev. Justin Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Fields McClendon; children, Sandra M. Thomas and Randy K. McClendon and his wife, Nita S. McClendon; and grandchildren, Ricky M. Wyers, Michael E. Thoms and Katie L. Thoms.
