Nothing changed Friday night as the Bulldogs made it 10 straight wins over the Tigers, blanked Meek 28-0 at A.G. Hicks Stadium.
Addison scored a pair of touchdowns over a two-minute span in the first half and let the defense do the rest as the Bulldogs recorded their third straight shutout over Meek. Addison has outscored the Tigers 117-0 over the last three years.
Landon Robinson put Addison (4-2, 4-1) on the scoreboard with 11 seconds left in the opening quarter with a 14-yard touchdown run for a 6-0 lead. The Bulldogs doubled their lead in the second quarter when Jesse Seals returned a punt 85 yards for a score with 10:08 left in the first half. Kaleb Estill added a 30-yard field goal with 2:35 left in the half. Addison took a 15-0 lead into the locker room.
Addison struck for two more touchdowns in the third quarter.
John Everett scored on a 1-yard run with 4:50 left; Jake Wade scored on an 11-yard run with 1:29 remaining in the quarter. Estill added the extra point on the final score for a 28-0 lead.
Meek (3-3, 2-2) had trouble moving the ball all game. The Tigers totaled just 153 yards of offense. Addison’s Jed Cross and Justin Bladow added interceptions.
Addison plays a region game at Sumiton Christian next week while Meek looks to end a three-game losing streak at home against region frontrunner Ragland.
