Evelyn V. Hobbs, 65, of Jasper, died on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Odom Memorial Cemetery in Parrish. The Rev. Randy Beck and the Rev. Michael Ingle will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her children, Wanda Burnett and her husband, Jake, of Pineywoods, Barbara Ellis and her husband, Zach, of Sumiton, Robbie Hobbs of Nauvoo, Norman Griffin of Hamilton, and Mark Griffin and his wife, Julie, of Winter Haven, Fla; grandchildren, Jessica Stevens and her husband, Timmy, of Sipsey and Caleb Burnett of Pineywoods; great-grandchildren, Nick Huddleston, Miley Huddleston, Caden Huddleston and Brody Sanders, all of Sipsey; sister, Myrtle Ingle of Cordova; the true love of her life for many years, Robert Hobbs; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
