Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today, Oct. 10, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor prior to services. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Prospect Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tracy Guthrie; sister, Sabre Freeman; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Windell Guthrie; and several nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his sons, Allen Jackson Guthrie, Brian Walter Guthrie and John Jackson Guthrie (Bryar Guthrie); sisters, Helen Levon Michaels, Mildred Duke, Coralee Williams and Addie Olene McGill; and brother, Nolan Clifford Guthrie.
