Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Oct. 11, 2012, in the parlor at Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Kerry Richardson will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Gillott; and mother, Ruby West Gillott.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Gillott; one daughter, Sandy Gillott Bennett; one son, Steven Gillott; one sister, Mary Grimmson; one brother, James Gillott; and eight grandchildren, Joseph Bennett, Chandler Gillott, Matthew Gillott, Morgan Bennett, Adam Gillott, Landan Bennett, Elizabeth Gillott and Sofia Bennett.
