For the first time since 1998, stock car racing returned to Jasper Sunday afternoon. Kenny Hogan, owner of Thunderdome Sports and Entertainment Complex (formerly Jasper Speedway), said Sunday’s 10 races were a test run to see how the track would hold up. Hogan said the track may hold another test race in November, but plans are to re-pave the facility and hold an entire season of racing in the Spring 2013. - Photo by: James Phillips.
