He was preceded in death by his father, Judge Thomas Key; brothers, Noah Key and George Earl Key; and sister, Cassie Pledger.
He is survived by his mother, Ellie Easter Allred Key; daughters Lisa Decker of Horton and Sabrina Prescott; sons, Eddie Key and Thomas Earnie Key; sisters, Viola Williams, Margie Burton and Charlene Painter; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
