Police also recovered a 5-gallon plastic bucket filled with bud marijuana that was allegedly shipped to the residence.
The buds are considered to have the highest concentration of THC, the primary psychoactive component in marijuana, followed by the leaves. The buds can have as much as 10 times the THC as the leaves of certain plants.
The total raw weight of the marijuana recovered was approximately 3.2 pounds, according to Dora Police Chief John Duchock.
“This was part of an ongoing joint investigation into that residence,” Duchock said.
This is also the latest arrest for the joint task force that launched a campaign against drugs in Dora more than a year ago. Dora Police made 45 drug arrests last month alone, and the task force with the ABC Board has netted several individuals on charges of distributing and trafficking.
“We are continuing to maintain the working relationship between Dora and the ABC Board,” Duchock said. “It has been ongoing for about a year and will continue in the future.”
