He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Earline Westbrook; and his parents, Julius “Poole” and Katie Westbrook.
He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Mike) Farabee, and Debbie (John) Mulvehill; grandchildren, Jennifer (Patrick) Lacey, Jeremiah (Christie) Bates, Hilary (Destin) Dewberry, and Meredith Farabee; great-grandchildren, Austin Bates, Kimber Bates, Jenna Burns, and Bella Dewberry; sisters, Hilda Dutton, Linda Westbrook, Mary (Larry) Hopkins, Myra (Mike) Sellers, and Shelia (Donnie) Carden; brothers, Don (Shirley) Westbrook, Perry (Alice) Westbrook, Jack (Charlene) Westbrook, and Randy Westbrook; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, from 3 until 6 p.m., at the Trinity Baptist Church and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m., at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial was in Crestview Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Don Westbrook and the Rev. Keith Brakefield officiated. Pallbearers were Mr. Westbrook's nephews.
