Visitation was held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 4, 2012, at McDade Cemetery in Carbon Hill.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Ida Emberg, and Nathan Alexander.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Head Emberg; mother, Donna McAvoy; father, Daniel Emberg (Deanna); daughter, Abigail Rutledge; son, Cody Rutledge; sister, Wanda Watson (Kevin); brother, Daniel Emberg; and grandparents, Paul and Mary Vines.
