Flora Marie Hopson Humphrey, 80, of Dora, formerly of Indianapolis, Ind. died on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Shadescrest Health Care in Jasper. Services will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness (110 Kingdom Hall Lane, Dora, Alabama, 35062).

Mrs. Humphrey was a retired licensed beautician. She was Jehovah’s Witness and devoted her life to Jehovah. She moved to Alabama in 1984 from Indianapolis with her husband, Charles Humphrey, to serve where the need was great. Mr. Humphrey preceded her in 2002.

Survivors include her sister, Mildred Louise Burks, (James “Pete” Burks) of Indianapolis; nieces, Paulette Burks Brents, Charmill Burks Whitfield. Brenda Marie-Johnson Stephens, Sara Frances Johnson, Alfreda Grubbs and Marcia Grubbs, all of Indianapolis; nephews, John Hopson Grubbs, Terry Lynn Tyler and Calvin Tyler, all of Indianapolis; great niece, Maishia Cushenberry; and a host of grand nieces, nephews and other cousins and relatives,
