Visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, from 6 until 8 p.m. in Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Kilgore-Green Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper. Hollis Alexander officiating. Burial to follow in the Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Adamsville with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home of Jasper directing.
She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star, serving as a worthy Matron. She was a God fearing woman, who loved the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Woods; daughter, Sonja Millar; and son, Bobby Jack Alexander.
She is survived by Gay Ruby of Port St. John, Fla.; Melia Davis of Merritt Island, Fla.; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
