Clayton Carter, 80, of Cordova, passed away on Dec. 19, 2012, at Princeton Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Freewill Baptist Church in Cordova.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Carter; daughter, Tina Pounds (David); and grandchildren, Ethan, Lindsay and Drake Pounds.
