The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel with burial in the Crossroads Cemetery on Bradford Road in Jasper.
Mr. Trotter was preceded in death by his brothers, Sammy D. Trotter and Steven Griggs; and brother-in-law, Terry Rucker.
He is survived by his mother, Johnnie Trotter of Jasper; father, W.D. Trotter of Jasper; daughter, Tabitha Trotter Howell (Shelby) of Jasper; son, Douglas Wayne Trotter (Lora Lyn) of Nauvoo; sisters, Robbin Rucker and Kelly Young, both of Jasper; brothers, Matthew Trotter and David Griggs, both of Jasper; aunt, Flossie Duncan; and grandchildren, Zona Crawford, Alyssa Howell, Ethan Trotter, and Mackenzie Trotter.
