Funeral services will be today, January 12, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel with burial at Carbon Hill Memorial Gardens. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Mr. Center was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Bettie Center; and partner and friend, Joanie Wilson Ford.
He is survived by his sisters, Bettie Lapham (Jimmy Hinson) and Suzanne Parker (Loren); sister-in-law, Lori Chaffin; niece, Emily Tharpe (Dwayne); and nephew, Billy Helms (Sunny).
Pallbearers will be Sylvester Lyons, Phillip Beason, Jimmy Henson, Dwayne Tharpe, Billy Helms and Loren Parker.
