Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Walker Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Verner Chandler; sister, Anita Chandler; grandfather, Jessie Floyd Chandler; grandmother, Hester Downs Chandler; step-grandmother, Allie Mae Chandler; grandfather, John W. Gurganus; and grandmother, Helen Mullinax Gurganus.
He is survived by his mother, Burlie Chandler; sisters, Marlene Chandler and Vernell Pierce; brothers, Maurice Chandler and wife, Marcia, and John Chandler; 15 nieces and nephews; and cousin, Bill Chandler and wife, Lisa.
