Evelyene “Sharp” Tolbert, 84, of Jasper, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Wells Celestial Gardens. The Rev. Brad Corley will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 30, 2013, at Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband, J.T. Tolbert; sons, Donald and Jack Tolbert; grandchild, Terry Lockhart; and great-grandchildren, Jake Norton and J.T. Junior Tolbert.

Survivors include her children, Ronald Tolbert and his wife, Teri, of Jasper, Vicki Ward and her husband, Owen, of Curry, Betty Lockhart and her husband, Larry, of Dilworth, and the Rev. Otto Tolbert and his wife, Karen, of Dilworth; 15 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; sister, Minnie Tolbert; sister-in-law, Elline Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
