Sy’lena Ocean Nimock, 4 months old, of Carbon Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 27, 2013, at her residence. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Wilson Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, at Wilson Brothers Funeral Home. Bro. Jerry Boyd will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery in Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Randy Smith; great-grandmother, Mary Ann Kanody; great-grandfather, Rex Kell; great-great-grandmother, Iva Lee Sloan; uncles, Rusty Martin and Terrell Martin; and cousin, Keona Harris.

She is survived by her parents, Mandy and Dwan Nimock; brother, Ty’Que Nimock; sister, Aziyah Thomas; grandparents, Sundae Smith, (Nana Cynthia Revis), Tim Woods and Aurther Evans; great-grandparents, Billy and Joann Martin; aunts, Robin Dill, Jessica Patrick and Nicole Thompson; uncles, Dwayne Harris, Joey Hartley and Nick Woods; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
