Julia Mae “Lady” Banks, 80, of Jasper (Pineywoods community), died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at her residence.

Visitation will be today, March 8, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 11 a.m., in the Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sipsey. The Rev. J.J. Creel will officiate.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Stewart Banks; parents, Jim and Audie Dill; brothers, Carl Dill, Charles Dill, Pink Dill, and Howard Dill; and sisters, Gladys Miller and Ruby Dickerson.

Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Bobo and her husband, Cliff, of Jasper and Linda Clifton and her husband, Roger, of Sipsey; brother, James Dill Jr. and his wife, Irene, of Sumiton; grandchildren, Ronald Clifton, Amy Ferguson and her husband Kevin, Renae Rose and her husband Tony, Jeff Pate and his wife Pam, Jeremy Pate and his wife Andrea, Jason Pate, and Amanda Pate; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers include Eric Johnson, Kevin Ferguson, Tony Rose, and Billy Dill.
