Odelle Manasco Bell, 88, of Birmingham (also lived in Jasper), was born June 19, 1924, in Nauvoo. She passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013, at her home.

Visitation will be held today, March 13, 2013, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the parlor of Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper. Dr. Mike McLemore and the Rev. Michael Gatch will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ocie Bell; son, Jerry Wayne Bell; parents, Calton and Elva Manasco; six sisters, Nora Manasco, Lois Trimble and her husband Noah, Bernice Rowe and her husband John, Myrtle Noles and her husband J.B., Mamie Latham and her husband Hollis, and Cecilia Busler and her husband H.C.; and one brother-in-law, John Hogan.

She is survived her daughter, Patricia Handley and her husband, James (Jim); four grandchildren, Brett Bell and his wife, Donna, Jerri Page Bell, Jaima Binzer and her husband, Jim, and Jason Handley and his wife, Shannon; eight great-grandchildren, Michael Bell, Sydney Bell, Brooke Handley, Joshua Handley, Alicia Wilson and her husband, Trent, Jon Binzer and his wife, Brittney, Mercedes Binzer, and Catherine Binzer; two great-great-grandchildren, Donovan Wilson and Jase Wilson; one sister, Vera Hogan; two brothers, C.W. Manasco and his wife, Betty, and Jim Manasco; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
