J.L. Sartain, 89, of Jasper, passed away on March 18, 2013, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Jasper. J.L. was the Coffee Time host at WWWB Radio Station and co-host of Coffee Time on local TV.

Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. today, March 20, 2013, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, March 20, 2013, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Walker Memory Gardens. The Rev. Howard Thompson will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn S. Sartain; and parents, Festus and Lawley Sartain.

He is survived by his daughters, Phoebe Jordan (Ken) of Mobile and Melinda Bryan (Jeff) of Columbiana; grandchildren, Ashley Rickel (Ron) of Nashville, Tenn., and Amanda Williams of Jasper; and great-grandson, Hunter Rigsby of Jasper.
