The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2013, from noon until 2 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Ashbank Cemetery. Mickey Crane will officiate, Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Nix was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Wilda Johnson, Horace and Euralean Jackson; father, Charles Johnson; and step-father, Robert Craigmile.
She is survived by her husband, David Nix; mother, Frances Craigmile; daughters, Elezabeth Wakefield and Crystal Odom; son, Jimmy Ray Tucker Jr.; sisters, Jo Cooper, Lisa Perry and Mary Ellen Campbell; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Gary Tucker, Michael Tucker, Jay Martin, Jamie Johnson, Joshua Johnson and Shane Jackson.
