Vivian Fowler Curtis, 71, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home Sumiton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Empire Church of God. The Rev. LeVan and the Rev. Sansing will officiate. Burial will follow in the Littlevine Cemetery. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Curtis was a devoted and faithful woman of God. She loved her family dearly, and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fannon and Verla Mae Fowler; and one brother, Jimmy Fowler.

She is survived by her children, Latricia Cyr and her husband, Phillipe, Valorie Garner and her husband, Eddie, Greg Curtis and his wife, Beth, and Matt Curtis and his wife, Sandra; grandchildren, Jessica and Erica Carter, Trey and CJ Garner, Trevor and Halle Curtis, Hunter, Meagan and Makayla Curtis; her sister and best friend, Gwen Fowler; four brothers, Dallon Fowler, Lehman Fowler, David Fowler and Robert Fowler; and five sisters, Virginia Estes, Doris Ann Seymour, Joan Cagle, Jewel Nixon and Rachael Childers; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
