The Blue Devils also won the second game, blasting the Aggies 11-1.
The second game served as the area tiebreaker, giving Cordova the series edge on the season.
Hamilton, which knocked off the Blue Devils 1-0 on Tuesday, jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning in he opener. Cordova (18-6 overall, 3-1) in Class 3A, Area 14 play) tied the game with two runs in the top of the fourth. Hamilton regained the lead at 3-2 in the fifth, but Cordova tied the game in the sixth and exploded for four runs in the seventh.
Jeffre Wingo earned the win. Chase Trotter drove in two runs for the Blue Devils while Cam Honeycutt, Steven Kilpatrick, Andrew Minor and Wingo added RBIs.
In the second game, Cordova scored four runs in the first inning and six in the fourth. Kilpatrick, Trotter and Hunter Gilmore each had two RBIs. Gilmore earned the win, tossing a two-hitter on the mound.
Cordova plays at Haleyville beginning at noon today.
