The event will be begin at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 1604 4th Avenue in Jasper (North Entrance), and will feature fashions from several local clothiers, including the Curiosity Shop, the KeyHole, Lavish Boutique, Bernard’s, Thirty8Twenty and Belk, which will be modeled by community personalities. There will also be musical interludes by local artists and catering will be by Black Rock Bistro.
“We hope everyone will come out and join us for a fun night of entertainment and help raise money for a really good cause,” said Pam Fikes the executive director of the ARC Walker-Marion Chapter. “All the proceeds from the event will benefit our local Disaster Relief Services, which we are always fundraising to replenish, so we will be prepared for the next house fire or natural disaster.”
Fikes said she would also like to thank all the sponsors who have helped make the fundraising event possible.
“The American Red Cross is a charitable organization and we depend on the generosity of others to perform our missions,” Fikes said. “We help people in need every single day, not just during large scale disasters, so no two days, weeks or years are the same, because so much of what we do depends on the needs of the people we serve.”
Fikes said tickets to the ARC Celebrity Fashion Show Dinner and Silent Auction are $25 and must be purchased in advance.
