Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today, Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Little Vine Cemetery in Empire with Rev. Doug Tate officiating. There will be no visitation.
His love for his family and friends, fishing and Alabama football kept his strength, faith and spirit alive. All those who had the honor of knowing him will carry those loving memories forever.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Troy A. and Imogene Mayfield Wingo; brother, Troy D. Wingo; and sister, Stella Wingo Gann.
Survivors include his sisters, Helen Wingo Richardson and her husband, Kenneth, of Nauvoo and Johnnie Wingo Bozeman and her husband, Gary, of Cordova; brothers, Jacky Wingo of Jasper and David Wingo and his wife, Linda, of Maplesville; nieces, Gayle Gilmer, Jessi Wingo and Tami Richardson; nephews, Troy Wingo, Jono Wingo, Brandon Smith, Micah Smith, Justin Richardson and Chris Richardson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews and friends and extended family.
