The family will receive friends today, Nov. 20, 2013, from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home in Hanceville.
Wingo passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Larry Nichols and Callie Mae McClendon Nichols; her husband, Rubin O. Harris; son, William Rubin “Buster” Harris; daughter, Margaret “Pug” Williams; and two sisters, Alma Marie Swanger and Doris Chaney.
She is survived by two sons, Ottis (Francis) Harris and James R. “Butch” Harris; three daughters, Myra (David) Bishop, Shelia (Lou) Pierpoint and Belinda “Jeanie” (Terry) Reid; son-in-law, Danny Sawyer; two brothers, Frankie (Francis) Nichols and Robert (Vicki) Nichols; three sisters, Bobbie (Dewey) Gosa, Cora Perkins and Peggy Pugh; 27 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Our mother will be greatly missed. She was a great mother, cook, grandmother and a very funny lady. Everyone loved her, especially us. Rest in peace and kiss them for us.
