Copeland Ferry Volunteer Fire Department will have a Car Wash Fundraiser Saturday, Aug. 16. at 8 a.m. at O’Reiley’s Auto Parts on U.S. Highway 78 in Jasper. Car washed for a donation to Copeland Ferry Fire Departement’s firefighting operations fund.

Cordova High School Blue Devil Day will be Saturday, Aug. 16, beginning at 8 a.m. with a yard sale. Activities and food at noon. Archery tournament at 2 p.m. Swings, inflatable slide and jumping house, climbing wall and more. Pep rally at 5 p.m. followed by a scrimmage game. Admission to game is a donation of cleaning supplies.
