Audie Alvin Campbell, 77, of Logan, entered into rest on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, in Birmingham.

He was born on January 21, 1936 in Akron, Ohio. He loved horseback riding, fishing and aggravating the grandkids.

Visitation will be today, Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Brother Kenny Sudduth will officiate. Burial will be in the Enmanfield Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lois Campbell; daughters, Gearldine (Doug) Layfield, Carol (Ken) Layfield, Rosa (Dennis) Harrison and Mary (Bruce) Williams; he was Papa to 18 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyce and Olamae Campbell; brothers, Jack Campbell, Travis Campbell, Dual Burns; half brothers, Jimmy Campbell and Johnny Campbell; and sister, Vera Pearl Burns.
