The Daily Mountain Eagle and Curry True Value are partnering this month to give away nearly $1,000 in quality yard equipment to one lucky new subscriber.

“We are excited to continue our giveaway promotion this month,” said Eagle Publisher Jack McNeely. “These three yard equipment items will come in handy now that spring has sprung.”

Curry True Value owners Spence and Debbie Tuggle are offering a Stihl string Trimmer, Stihl chainsaw and Snapper 21-inch self-propelled walk mower with bagger.

The three items have a combined retail value of $969.85.

“The Tuggles have always been loyal customers of the newspaper. These giveaway promotions for new subscribers afford us an opportunity to show our appreciation for our retail partners,” McNeely added.

The newspaper will promote the giveaway daily. Carriers will also sample, or throw, free papers to homes on their respective routes that currently do not receive the paper.

A minimum subscription of three months ($31.50) is required to be entered into the drawing scheduled Wednesday, April 30. New subscribers may earn additional entries by subscribing for six months ($63 and 2 entries) or 12 months ($126 and 4 entries).
