The Winston County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to return a special item to its rightful owner.

Sgt. Keith Concord said that during a recent search warrant at a residence near Jasper, where many stolen items were recovered, they found a red and white tricycle that Concord identified as belonging to a Mason.

The person arrested at the residence said the item came from the same man who gave him the other stolen items and that it had been taken from a Masonic building, although he wasn’t sure which one.

The stolen items recovered came from Jasper, Walker and Winston counties, so there is no way to know where this item came from; it was not included in the police reports from any of the other cases.

Anyone with information on this item is asked to call Concord at (205 )489-2115.
